what it means to be "up" in a conference call?
I'm waiting for my supervisor and then turned and said, "OK, you are at the top, "apparently meaning that someone else had joined (conference) That was the case. This statement was just another way of saying that was another person connected to the line, or should I could understand something about the label conference call?
In my work, which would have meant top of the agenda and that would be first. Never heard of an order of a conference call will be "up". Now, I have heard say that are in the room to suggest that they are now connected and the speaker. Perhaps he meant table – even if it still seems strange to me.
